The primary objective of this engagement with Leonard Development Group for the project sites located at 1907- 1909 34th Ave SE and 3400 19th Street SW, Calgary, Alberta, is to provide a comprehensive review and commentary on the existing HVAC plans, which have been flagged for deficiencies by the City of Calgary. Our expert analysis will focus on the existing proposed ventilation system using HRVs (Heat Recovery Ventilators). We aim to offer specific, actionable recommendations and comments that will aid in addressing the city's concerns and streamline the building permit approval process.
The project involves the redevelopment of an existing site, which includes two residential buildings and a proposed new three-story building framed in wood at 3400 19th Street SW. Currently, the project is in the building permit stage and has recently received a letter from the City of Calgary outlining deficiencies in the submitted HVAC plans.
